About Us
Kiddie Kollege of Fairfield, established in October 1996 by Dr. Jill Andrews, is a premier early childhood education center located adjacent to Frontier Community College on the west side of Fairfield, Illinois. Our state-of-the-art 12,000 sq. ft. facility comprises 11 classrooms, three administrative offices, a resource room, and a fully equipped kitchen.
We have the capacity to serve up to 141 children and provide a comprehensive learning environment. The facility boasts an extensive playground that spans the entire length of the building, ensuring ample space for outdoor activities. The Creative Curriculum guides our staff in developing their lesson plans and all of our children receive developmental screenings each year.
Kiddie Kollege is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), a distinction that places us among the top 8% of early childhood education centers nationwide. Additionally, we have been awarded a Gold Rating from ExceleRate™ Illinois, the quality recognition program administered by the Illinois Department of Human Services, reflecting our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.

All About Us
Dr. Jill Andrews – Founder & Administrator
Kiddie Kollege of Fairfield was founded by Dr. Jill Andrews in 1996. Andrews received a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Southern Illinois University in 1995 and also holds a Level III Illinois Director Credential. She is the president and was a charter member of Southern Illinois Early Childhood Action Team, Inc., a not-for-profit association serving the bottom third of Illinois early childhood professionals. Prior to building Kiddie Kollege, Dr. Andrews was Director of Adult Education and Family Literacy at Frontier Community College.

Angie Lane – Director
In 2010, Angie Lane became the director of Kiddie Kollege after serving as assistant director for seven years and as the lead teacher in our infant room. Angie holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kendall College and a Level II Illinois Director Credential.

Kristen Harwell – Assistant Director
Kristen Harwell has been the assistant director at Kiddie Kollege since 2010. Before taking on this role, Kristen worked as a teacher in our toddler room for several years while completing her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She also holds a Level 1 Illinois Director credential.
